Patrick Junkroski Author

Patrick Junkroski attended Edison CollegeĀ (now Florida SouthWestern State College) in Naples, Florida and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he studied Business Management, Spanish, and English, eventually earning a degree in Managerial Accounting.

Since the age of 16, he has also been a professional musician, playing keyboards and singing in New Orleans with Les Getrex and the late Marva Wright, Charlie Brent, and Ernie K-Doe among others. After his move to Florida in 1989, Patrick coproduced, arranged, engineered, and performed on a dozen projects for QRS Music, and continued to perform live and in studio sessions for years while building an IT business with his brother, Michael. Their company primarily focused on Apple networks, for which Patrick holds six certifications.

Through it all, he was always writing: short stories, business proposals, music, lyrics, Facebook posts, website content, and even a WGA-registered treatment for a sitcom ("Group Therapy").

In 2016, this passion for writing finally won. Patrick sold his partnership interest and began to write in earnest, completing his first full novel ("The Event") in 2018.

He has been married to his wife, Isabella, since 1994. They reside with their two children, Chiara and Julian, in Naples, Florida, and spend summers in Isabella's hometown of Erba, near Lake Como in Northern Italy.
